Thing 7

I laughed when I read the info on this Thing 7 that said FUN. But, I really did have fun with it! This is one of my favorite pictures of my grandbaby to share. We were in the Keys on vacation and he is about 2 and a half months in this picture. I worked with Big Huge Labs.http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/

Thing 6

The sights to view in this area were fun to look at. I especially like the puzzle maker. I also enjoyed playing with the color flikr. I can see where this can be very timely!

Luke

Here is recent picture of the love-of-my-life. My grandbaby Luke at almost 6 months old. He is such a happy baby.

Thing 5

This is a photo of Isla Grande in Panama. It's actually a hotel on the water. I searched under Panama, since that's where I'm from. Other tags for this picture were ocean, beach, and sea. The photo is from user name-seracat, and was taken in Portobelo, Colon on Oct. 9 2008.
I had problems getting this from flicker to my blog. I found the directions difficult to understand

Thing 4

This was kinda fun, once I understood what I was trying to do. It will be great to have my favorite sights all in one place and easy to get to. Muchas Gracias to Beth who is my "go to" person.

Thing 3

I looked up "ringing in ears" on the Technorati blog. It referred me to tinnitus. There were 873 results and 4 videos. It was a simple, but attractive layout. Then I looked up the same "ringing in ears"in Blog Pulse. There were 17,148 results and it did not refer me to tinnitus. It was unattractive and there were no videos. If given the choice, I would use Technorati over Blog Pulse.

thing 2

This is the first time I was introduced to the L2 instead of Library 2.0. It sure is easier to read and talk about. I agree that libraries need to keep up with the technology to provide the best service to the public. There are many people who use public libraries that have no access to a computer except in their libraries. I'm a baby-boomer, soon to retire, and I still like the comfort of books. So, I believe in providing many sources of information.
